Hart Jacquez is an Atlanta-based cinematographer whose work spans narrative features, documentaries, and music videos. Mentored by acclaimed cinematographer Oren Soffer, Hart began his career as a second assistant camera on feature films and unscripted TV before expanding into cinematography across a wide range of formats. His work as a Director of Photography has taken him throughout the United States and internationally, including productions in Hungary and Serbia.

Believing that every film has its own visual voice, Hart approaches each project by developing a cinematic language that serves the story. His experience across diverse formats has shaped a collaborative approach that combines the adaptability of unscripted production, the intimacy of documentary filmmaking, and the precision of live television to create images that are both emotionally grounded and visually compelling.

As a queer filmmaker, Hart is drawn to stories exploring identity, connection, and human relationships. He believes cinematography should do more than create beautiful images—it should deepen emotion and immerse audiences in the story.
